5. GOOGLE USER DATA
PropWiz offers optional integrations with Google services, such as Google Drive and Google Calendar. This section explains what Google user data we access when you connect a Google service, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and how long we keep it for the following purposes:
What we access:
(a) Google Drive: your basic Google account details (name and email address), file and folder metadata, and the contents of the files you select for import.
(b) Google Calendar: your list of calendars and their properties (such as calendar name and time zone), and the events on the calendars you sync, including each event’s title, times, location, description, organiser, attendees and video-call link.
How we use it:
We use this data solely to provide product features: letting you browse and select what to import, synchronising the files and events you choose, storing copies within PropWiz, extracting and classifying document content, generating property-related analysis, powering document search and chat, displaying calendar events and linking them to properties, and sharing documents when you direct us to.
Who we share it with:
We share Google user data only with service providers who process it on our behalf to deliver these features for secure sign-in and synchronisation, cloud hosting and storage, document processing and text extraction, AI-powered document analysis and chat, and AI quality monitoring. These providers may use the data only to provide services to us. We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties for any purpose beyond those described above. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to assess creditworthiness or for lending purposes, or use it to train generalised AI or machine-learning models. Beyond the service providers listed above, we disclose Google user data only when you direct us to (for example, when sharing a document), for security purposes (for example, investigating misuse), or where required by law. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we protect it:
Google user data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Your Google sign-in tokens are held by our authorisation services and are never exposed to your browser or to other users. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. Our staff do not access your Google user data except:
(a) for limited internal operations needed to provide the Service such as resolve bugs and support issues
(b) as necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law; or
(c) in aggregated, anonymised form for internal operations.
Retention and deletion:
If you disconnect Google Calendar, we delete the calendar data we have synced.
